Kickin it with Jaycee

This weekend is the first soccer tournament for Jaycee with her new team. This year she made the "A" team and we were all kind of nervous and anxious for her first game. Last year she was a mid fielder but this year they have started her out on defense. By the second game of the trounament she was switching back and forth from defense to mid fielder. The coaches are still trying to figure out where everyone plays the best. Jaycee doesn't care where she plays as long as she gets good playing time. Last year Jaycee had a coach that taught her alot but did not push the team to acheive their best. There was some good in this because there was great team chemistry. The biggest problem with this was they only won a couple of games the whole year. The kids almost expected to lose every game so it was not a big deal for them to get creamed. This year we can tell it will be different. During the second game the girls were not passing with purpose and he let the group know about it. As soon as he yelled out the need to change they snapped into shape and started passing rather than just kicking the ball around. He is very supportive of the girls but it is clear that he will push them to their best limits. So far their team has one loss and two ties for the weekend.

First of all, your family is almost too beautiful to be real. Secondly, your pictures are amazing! What kind of camera do you have?! I'm in the market...

Thanks for the comments. I have a Nikon D80 and bought it from Kits in Covington. The people there are great and did not pressure us at all. It has been real fun but I have to admit I feel like I am just scratching the surface of what it is capable of doing.

The kids look so cute as usual! I am so glad to see your blog so we can keep up! We did have a blast in Vegas (yes, Seattle is especially Scott's favorite vacation EVER!) Mama Mia was so fun. The best part was hearing Scott sing along...he thinks he is REALLY good! :)
